Panko Crusted Baked Shrimp

  • ½ pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¾ C panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ T non-fat milk
  • 1½ T flour
  • 1½ t salt-free seafood seasoning
  • ¼ t pepper


Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. Combine egg whites and milk in another bowl. Combine flour, seafood seasoning and pepper in a third bowl. Dip shrimp in the flour mixture, the egg mixture and the bread crumbs; then place on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. It’s usually an easier process if you divide the bread crumbs in 2 batches, as they tend to clump together when the egg mixture drops on them.
Mist the breaded shrimp with olive oil or olive oil cooking spray.

Bake at 400 for 8-12 minutes, until shrimp turn pink and bread crumbs are brown. Turn over shrimp halfway through the cooking process.
